The Project Partnership
Sør-Trøndelag fylkeskommune is the promoter of the
project and is responsible for the coordination and administration and
finances of the project partnership. As promoter we are a
professional organisation with experience and good rumour as
promoter and responsible for running projects.
The project idea has been developed in cooperation
between the Swedish and Norwegian educating partners. The network is
broad both locally, nationally and internationally regarding to
types of organisation such as: Upper secondary schools, enterprises,
universities, voluntarily organisations, employer and trade union
organisations, public authorities etc. We distinguish between three
types of partners:
-
Educating partners, which are the seven
schools with students, teachers and counsellors.
-
Supervising partners, which are the three
Universities.
-
Supporting partners, which are the
other organisations and cooperating companies.
We have a wide range of other partners such as
Employer's Associations, Sector organisations, Young Enterprise and
private and public companies. They will contribute to the project by
mentoring the students and cooperating with schools and by giving
presentations at meetings and eventually conferences during the
lifetime of the project.
As we have worked with the project idea we have seen great
interest from many organisations and companies to take part in the
project. We have therefore decided to limit the number of partners
to a few core partners. One of the supporting partners in Norway,
Young Enterprise, has a board of people representing different
sectors organisations, employment organisations, municipalities etc.
The partnership is built on regional cooperation in a European
context. That means all basic partners in secondary schools are
supposed to find cooperating partners in their regional environment
and the main activities will be developed from there. These partners
are cooperating companies, professional and voluntary organisations,
local associations as well as local authorities. Many of these
organisations have international networks and can contribute to
develop other and new networks for cooperation and development. All
partners will be responsible for different tasks in the project such
as dissemination, evaluation, culture and attitudes and
documentation of results. All will be responsible to contribute to
the development and to building of the network, which is essential
in the project. All partners have experience in international
projects of different categories. All schools have both Vocational
and General subjects on their schedule, and all have taken part in
Young Enterprise projects.
The Norwegian and Polish partners have
cooperated within the Norwegian LinkingUp programme. This was a
mobility project for counsellors and we now want to go further with
counselling and Entrepreneurship. The Norwegian and Swedish partners
have cooperated in a Interreg IIA programme in developing Young
Enterprise. The partners will all contribute to the work of develop,
create and test a model for Career Guidance Services to the aim of
developing an entrepreneurial spirit in young people. The
contribution will be from the partners different roles, experiences,
perspectives and skills. The partners will all use their different
networks- old one as well as new networks- to develop the project as
well as to spread the results.
